LOL! Thanks for all the kind replies Folks, got quite the chuckle out of a few of them

Stayed up FAR too late fondling the new "Beau", and when I finally staggered off to the rack, The Missuz simply mumbled something along the lines of typical, guess I should be used to this by now... aYup!

In the cold light of day there are no morning after regrets!
Still Glowing and Giggling over the new acquisition, and bloody well itchin' to put her through her paces! Working on a new Target Bag right now, Likely won't get to shooting her until tomorrow, and even saying that is almost painful!!

Will get a few pix up soon, and of course let y'all know my thoughts regarding "Performance" as it goes. If that is anything even close to how Great She Looks, methinks we have a WINNER!!

Cheers,
Nog

I got to fondle my new baby today. She knows how to make me happy. I cut off some GT laser II to 18 in. 408 gr with 2" Blazers, 110 gr brass insert 20 gr alum nock and 125gr field point. Avg speed through my chrono was 331. According to the calculator on Gt site that's right at 100 on the KE scale. My Ibex with 20 " GT II's at 428 gr shot 298 with 85 pounds on the KE scale. Just for fun I cut an Excalibur Firebolt to 17" with same nock, Blazers, brass insert etc. and got a total arrow weight of 440 gr. it shot an avg of 321 fps thru chrono. It also hit 100fp on the KE scale. Scope worked fine. 0ne inch groups at 15, 20 and 30
Yards with each arrow. Don't shoot this bow into a standard foam target. They won't stop the arrow. My bag target had two pass throughs. All in all this little thing is "Toe Sucking" wonderful. Btw. Didn't shoot the Diablos. Will probably sell them. Got too many GT II's already. Can't get any more Diablos right now even if I wanted some.

Now your little Mrs BMW is telling you to tighten her screws. You used to do that but not any more.

And the Lad that took over the Ex with one in each hand:

Kinda tough for me to imagine the so much smaller version has so much more Power!

Target bag is nearly finished, but my other Hunting Partner just informed me he's dragging another 80 pounds of thawed sausage material over in the Early. Damn! Am I EVER going to get to shoot her??

Letcha know when I do...

I notice you got the whiskers on the strings. A long time ago I tried them on an Exocet, they slowed my arrow and didn't seen to quiet it that much , just wondering how well they work for you. Might have to try them again on my new Matrix. Keep us posted on how she shoots for you.

Yup, I had Boo install the whiskers on the strings for both bows. They were just installed, so we have yet to check out the overall performance. Finally loading the truck and headed out for an afternoon of shooting!! :D

Letcha know as it goes...

Nog, I have to ask. What did you wrap the foot stirrups with? I would like to do that here but I don't know what wrap to buy or where to get it.

The stirrups, and the scope, pistol grip, side rails etc on the Exomax actually.

Stuff is called "Camo Form". Not a sticky tape, it is a fabric that sticks to itself so leaves no residue behind when you take it off. Easy to work with.

Here's the link, and they have a convenient Dealer Locator link (Bottom right column) on that page: http://www.mcnett.com/Camo-Form-Protect ... -P274.aspx

And with that, I am off to SHOOT!
