Good article. Overall, there is some good information in there.

However, I find the information "dated" . . .for example, penetration isn't much of an issue if you are using a high speed bow made in the last couple of years.
I'd rather wear out than rust out.
Perception trumps intention.

Thanks for the feedback regarding the article.

I am new to broadheads so for me it helped, however, I know I have a lot to learn.

If anyone else out there knows some broadhead articles that you think would benefit someone trying to learn I would appreciate a PM or a copy/paste link on this thread.

The information is dated but still probably still relevant for the largest of game like buffalo and elephants. For deer we know any sharp broadhead will pass through with a double lung shot. My experience is that I amost always have to sharpen new broadheads.
