Excalibur

Post by Boo »

I decided to drive to Excalibur to pick something up and Rob Dykeman and Peter Belfour were gracious enough to give up some of their busy schedule to talk to me for a couple of hours. We were not talking about sensitive information but mostly about the industry at large and Excalibur in general.
I got to see their updated stringing aid which is very slick! This one's going to be really easy to carry around! They have great long range plans and a few shorter term plans for us all. All of it is good.
The big question I came away with in my head is.... how am I going to afford to buy all this stuff?
Stand by folks, the future is bright!!

And I just broke down last week and bought a stringing aid after all these years of stringing the hard way (by hand).
I know they make improvements, but it is frustrating to find out there is a "new and improved" product available just after you spend money on the old model.

I had a stringing-aid, but I sold it since I prefer stringing by hand. However with the Matrix, there's no hope of me stringing one. That's the only reason why I put off buying a Matrix, I can't afford to buy a new stringer.
