New Matrix 380 Blackout

Post by Hester0305 »

Well I recieved the Matrix 380 by UPS today just as I was leaving to set up our 3D archery range because we have a benefit shoot this weekend. I finally was able to unbox it and put everything together just after dark. I took a few shots in my building and I noticed its a little harder to cock that my Vortex. It is definitely louder but I will work on that. The trigger has a good bit of creep I hope it will get better the more I shoot just like my Vortex did. The Matrix is very well balanced and the Black Out looks pretty awesome. My wife looked at the scope and she wants one on her Vixen II so it looks like I will spending some more money. I'm going to shoot some groups Sunday when my other 2 friends come over and bring their new Matrix's. I'll be shooting the Black Eagle Executioners, can't wait till I see how they group.

Congratulations on your new crossbow.

Fortunately your wife only wants the new scope ... she could have requested her own 380.

Hello Eric,
Way to go, now you are up there with the big boys, congrats. It certainly is a sweet crossbow. If my finances were better I would have a Matrix 380 hanging right now.
I do think you need to have a new name though. I think "MatEric" will fit you fine,  . Take care my friend and enjoy. You should just keep that Vortex and hang it by your Matrix 380.

Or you could just send it to a charitable foundation. I know of a really good charitable foundation that will take good care of that Vortex? It is called the Raymond Challoner Excalibur Crossbow Foundation,     , but that foundation does accept all other makes and models,     .
Raymond
P.S. I just could resist, I couldn't help myself today.

Thanks everyone, I got out and shot some Black Eagles today and they shot great. I shot at 20 and 40 yards and they were stacking pretty good. I also tried one of my new QAD Exodus Broadheads at 20 yards just seeing how they hit with my field points. They were hitting within a 1/4 of an inch of my field points and thats not bad for a large 1 1/4 fixed blade head. These broadheads look as if they're built stronger than my Slick Tricks. I will be playing around with these some more at different yardages.

Raymond thanks so much I hope you're doing well my friend.

I got the Black Out as well. Donno why the all camo is so popular but for every 355 sold there is 7 camo 380s and 2 380 Black Outs. Just goes to show you that we have better taste!

I ordered 3 Matrix 380's 2 camo for my friends and the black out for myself. I think they will be a little jealous when they see the black out. They do look pretty sweet.
