I only shoot my Turbo XLT with AcuDraw now.
Works really well with the 380

Did I need it ? .... NO !! Did I want it ? Yes .. Here's my visa card. A 380 now hang's beside my tried, true , never failed Exo 200. I'm guilty of losing rational thinking when I enter a sporting good's store. But very seldom regret my purchases. :D

I have a 380 and it shoots great but so did my Vortex and my wife's Vixen. I didn't need a Matrix 380 at all but I do love it. I wish I could afford to buy an Ibex with the aluminum rail I think that would be my next one. I think I love them all.

My earlier post was not meant to knock the new bows.
For now I'll sit tight as it's only a matter of time and the rest of the old lineup will be replaced.
So far I have not seen anything from the other manufacturers that would make me purchase anything other than Excalibur.
Compound crossbows are out for me unless Excalibur decides to build one again.
Others have way too many serving wear issues. I love to shoot and not stand at my bench tinkering and/or replacing parts.

I'm sort of in the same boat. Had lot's of Excals thru the years including a black 380. Now it joined a Y-25 and a poop brown Phoenix that I just love both of them. well, I sold the 380 for my cost to a forum visitor for what I had in it, kept the other two. I'd loaned the pb phoenix to a local hunter, he whacked a squirrel the 1st time out at 25 yds, shot a doe the next trip at 30, wanted to buy the bow, lol. Had never shot an xbow prior to borrowing mine. Did I do a good thing? lolol

I can [and have done so] w/ what I already own.

Well if its not going to burden you financially, the why not? With the collection you have I can only see it being enhanced and variety is the spice of life.

I'd like to had one to compliment my Phoenix, not replace it as none of your previous Xbows have in your collection.

I was headed down the updated bow road until yesterday when my Phoenix delivered 2" groups at 30,40 and 50 yards. My Vortex bettered that today with comparable accuracy plus two side by side at 60. That's about as good as my 73 yr young arms can do it any more. :D
