Congrats on your bear. We have a lot of bear within just 5 to 10 miles of my house but I have never killed one. I have debated with myself for a long time because I would like to get one but I don't like to kill anything I don't eat and I have never tasted bear. Some tell me it is not fit to eat and others tell me it is grreat eats. Maybe one day I will be convinced that I need to get me one. We have some pretty big ones here and a lot of them are harvested every year.
