Canadians don't forget to apply for your Doe
tags before the end of this month.

I just remembered this morning.

It has gone up in price to $46.17. Tax included. Every year brings a dollar more. At what point do you say F&*% it?

When you buy your deer tag, you have to continue shopping.
You have to purchase the draw at zero cost.
If you're sure then go back and enter the draw separately.

As much as I hate to see prices go up every year when it comes down to it the cost of a deer licence is pretty small potatoes compared to what I end up spending on my hunting addiction every year. When $46 can buy me one day of skiing or three months of deer hunting it doesn't sound so bad. I don't think the price of a licence will ever cause me to pack it in.

That depends on your area, here in 76 we get one tag
for the entire season, to use between archery, controled hunt and rifle. We have to apply for a doe tag, a type of lottery if we get picked we can shoot a doe if you don't get drawn it's bucks only.

That's the reason for this post, to-day is the last day to apply.

I won mine :D here in Quebec in my zone you pay $8 to put your name in the draw, and if you win, when you go to purchase your regular buck license ( $53.01) you pay another $21.53 for the doe tag, and when you shoot one it cost $6.34(so $12.68 if you shoot your buck and doe ) to register it. So if I am lucky and get two deer it cost me $95.22

Oh, when you win the doe draw, you must harvest the doe first, then the buck, if you shoot a buck first thats it, your hunt ends.

Vive la Quebec lol. Please make me feel better and tell me you guys pay the same thing.

Forgot all about entering the draw this year. I'll have to try for an extra tag if I haven't missed that too!

Thanks. I`ll have to pull my head out of my butt and get on it. I miss having the Hunting Regs magazine. I used to go through it and hi lite all the important dates so I didn`t miss any of them.
