I started another post where interested parties must state and firmly commit to the number of tickets they wish to purchase and how they intend to make payment. That includes those of you who have already indicated that you wish to participate in my original post.

I noticed that Dan (Awshucks) was going to sell his Phoenix and donate part of the proceeds to the Kayla Baker's Cause. Since he's not coming to BooFest, and therefore that is no longer the case, I was thinking.....

.....Since, I have a like new Tenpoint Elite QX-4 package (M.R.S.P. $2,000.00), which I'm not using, and wish to sell, perhaps we can have a raffle.

If 75 tickets could be sold for $20 each, raising $1,500, I would be pleased to donate $500 of the proceed to the Kayla Baker's Cause.

I wondering if there is enough folks interested in participating to make this endeavor possible.


I will personally oversee and conduct the draw at Boofest on Sunday August 4.

I've received a PM asking if this post was meant to only gauge interest or to actually sign up and firmly commit. I was also asked if it was meant for all forum members or just those attending Boofest.

Well, my initial intend was to gauge if there was enough interest, if so, to collect the funds at Boofest, then hold the draw and award the Tenpoint, in the presence of all those in attendance.

In other words the raffle was meant for those who would be either attending Boofest or had a friend who was attending and would act as their proxy.

However, it appears that there is interest from folks who are unable to attend Boofest. Although, I don't wish to deprive anyone of the opportunity to participate, my concern is, with snail mail, there won't be enough time to assure that the funds can be collected in time to hold the raffle at Boofest.

So my question is: Who of you who have shown interest will either be attending Boofest or have a friend who will be attending and will act as your proxy?

Please clarify either way. Read your last post Comfybear if I read it right it indicates your still on the fence about the Boofest attendance or proxy which may or may not apply at this point.
