broadheads

Post by leftfield »

Hey guys, I'm new to this crossbow world and have a few questions. I just bought myself a Matrix355 and took a few shots with the field points supplied with the bow and it went well. I think the field points supplied are 150 grain, what weight of broadhead would you recommend and feel free to make any other comments on type, brand etc. Thanks

Boltcutters fly like my field point's ,out to 63 yds ,wish foc was a little more forward of center.
Ideally my shots are with in 30 yds or less anyhow on a whitetail .

Before boltcutters was slick trick & magnus which too shot well .125gr

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new bow. :)
You'll find that everyone seems to have their favourite broadhead that they swear by. Myself, I'm a big fan of the Rage products. I find them to be very reliable, they fly very true and they are DEADLY!!
Try a few different heads from your new bow if you can and see what your bow (and you) like the best. Good luck. :)
