I would like to introduce myself. I am new to the crossbow world due to shoulder injury! I purchased my first crossbow yesterday and it is a Matrix 355. i really like the bow so far.
I live in central Ohio South East of Columbus, hope to get some good enjoyment out of my new bow. I'm sure ill have plenty of ?'s for you all!!!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the Matrix you can get just about any question you have have about Excals answered on this forum. Good luck and have fun shooting.

That's one of the things I love about Ohio. Crossbows are "archery" when it comes to hunting. :lol:

I, too, went to a crossbow when my shoulder problems developed and didn't have to miss many bowhunting opportunities. After a short time of hunting with a crossbow I quickly learned crossbows are indeed archery, and subject to the same limitations as any other bow. Keep ranges reasonable and make good shots and crossbows work fine, too.
