What animal is this?

I found this near one of my bow stands.Any idea what it is?Young fawn?

Count the teeth and inspect them. Opossums are omnivores so they'll have a canine tooth on each side and sharp teeth throughout. Plus they have the most teeth of any North American mammal, 52. So each quarter of the skull should have 13 teeth.
As for deer, they have 5 molars until they are 1.5 years old, in which they then get their 6th molar per side.
