New string on 380

Just wanted to show my Boo string on my 380 Blackout, I put it on and it sits about 5/16ths off the SDS with no adjustments yet, will let it sit overnight and then see where it is.

I was getting 350 fps with stock string and diablo arrows(total weight was 397gn) BUT I did not have my string adjusted off the SDS, I shot it right out of the box. I will shoot it thru the chrono today or tomorrow and see what FPS i'm getting with every thing adjusted and will use the diablo arrows with 150gn tips.

shot 3 arrows and all 3 went thru the chrono at 345fps with the Boo string on, I shot the diablos with 150gn tip weighing in at 397gn total.
My problem now besides being 5 fps slower is that I grab my block target that I had for my vert bows and now cant get the 3 arrows out, used my T handle but pulled out the nocks ops, i'll need to invest in a pliers now to pull them out, I also should of put Jig-A-Loo on the arrows but forgot(glad I did or arrows would be buried), another Ops. Only shot at 11 yards so I buried the arrows up to the vanes .

Just shot the Beman ICS Crossbow Hunters thru the chrono with the 380 and they all showed 348 fps
20" arrow with 4" vanes and 100gn field point for a total weight of 393.5-393.5.

Ordered some 18" BEE's tonight, total weight will be 391.8(392) that includes the 100gn tips. cant wait to get them and shoot them.

Ranger ... sharp string there. There's something special that happens when you get your first Boo string .... you kind of sit back, look at your crossbow and think, "Yep, It's perfect now."

All the best with your BEE order ... all the testing I did last year confirmed for me that they are the ones that work best with my Ibex. Let us know how they work out for you.

Hope they show up by next Friday . Then I'll post the FPS. It will give more time for the string to stretch out while I wait .
