Arrow Problem

Post by rattlerun »

I was shooting yesterday off a bench at 50 yds. Arrows are marked so I shot each one in the same order. Vanes are also marked so the same one down. Every time I was within 2 inches. Today I did the same thing except arrow #3 keeps hitting about 5 inches low. All 3 weigh the same. Number 3 spins true. Nothing hit it. Vanes are good. Short of changing to another arrow, does anyone have any ideas? Arrows 1 and 2 still fly fine.

Like Steve says rotate the arrow so you are trying a different cock vane and see if that helps

I'm using Blazer 2" vanes, practice firenocks, and 112 gr brass Lock and Load inserts.

I will try rotating a different vane down. But like I said, nothing has changed, just a different day.

Check to see if culprit has a loose vane edge. I ran into similar problem when one vane came slightly unglued.
