Been in Kingston and Belleville for a couple years now. Rumour has it that all larger CT locations close to rural areas will be expanding their hunting sections.

Fellas
Found out about it last yr. Hope the Walker rd CTC in Windsor gets some more. Was in there today, I see they maybe soon the best place for hunting stuff. They even have some old WW2 rifles. Im looking at the SKS they have.
Spoke to the sports manager a few months back. They hope to be the largest hunting and fishing in Southern Ont. I would rather buy there than to drive to BSP.

Norm, our local CT seems to only carry the Axiom package and it looked like they only had one. I don't think they'll hurt local dealers much unless they sell it cheaper. CT wants $599 for the package and I don't think that will threaten the local shops too much. They're also carrying some basic Excal accessories too ( rope cockers, arrow pullers etc.).

I have yet to see any knowledgeable staff in sporting goods at CTC.
Had a good manager here but he quit when the store owner jerked him around too much.
Not much inventory will be controlled by staff at CTC or crapmart.
Head office will likely stock inventory once a year and good luck getting anything after that.
The CTC response is likely due to TSC expanding their fishing inventory.
From past dealings with them I will not change from going to my real Excalibur dealer. I've been with him for 30 years and counting.

Kingston store has not restocked any excalibur stuff in the last 6 or 7 months????

Might as well have nothing then a hit and miss inventory.

I see some Excalibur stuff including a bow in the weekly flyer that came yesterday. We live near Chatham in South West Ontario.

The only thing I'd be worried about Crappy Tire carrying Excal is the knowledge & if there's a problem people thinking that it is Excal to blame & not CTC. As temping as it sounds to check them out I'll still drive to Wallaceburg to G&K Archery for anything I need for my crossbow. Even before I was able to find my crossbow (couldn't buy new) Kevin at G&K took the time to answer all my questions I had when I just stopped in & didn't buy anything from him. His customer service by just being honest & answering my questions has me being his customer for life.

I won't be buying a new Excal for while yet (I still haven't got a deer with my Wolverine) but when I do it will be from G & K!!

I know the Windsor CTC, is looking to expand the Fishing and hunting area. I was going to as for a part time job. Just for kicks.
