Realy falling in love with my Exocet

Post by strum »

I owned an Exomax for 3 years and shot thousands of shots out of it and I owned a phoenix for a while too. so that said Im not new to these bows.
I know the big thing now is the matrix (yeah I want on to)
but the more I shoot this exocet the more im digging it :D
it has all the power ill ever need and then some and its just a pleasure to shoot. I'm finding it to be (of course) easier to cock and better on the serving than the max..
I cant say anything bad about the phoenix except to say I like a little more ump . The exocet is fitting very well.
man it feels go to shoot again :D

Stan, Awshucks has had about all the Excals and thinks the 200lb platform is their best. I had an Exocet for a while and don't think I could disagree.

I shot that Phoenix today stan 30 yds 2x only first shot with 125g field point 2nd 125g swhacker with tape on the end to keep from deploying ...them little blades got me
Image
175 pounders has my vote for all around shooting ....easy to cock and easy on strings and easy on the target...oh and easy on arrows if you aim at different places on the target...almost forgot its a lot easy on me to cock

This is true......My 1st Excal was the 'elephant killer' a 225# model. Life got much better when I got my hands on a 200#er.

No elephants in Arkansas.

No 'Maxes or 'Noxes harmed in the making of this post, btw.

You should be! That is a really fine example of the original concept bow that got the company to where it is today. Not forgetting where you came from, but also moving forward. The Excocet fills that space perfectly! Mine is a 1997 model. Love it. Shoots great. Never had a deer go anywhere but DOWN!

Enjoy your bow to the maximum. Regards, H.P.D.
