Question for bi-pod users

I've been researching bi-pods and like the features of the Harris swiveling models. Is it really as simple as connecting it up to the swivel stud on an Excalibur? I'm guessing that the riser bolts and conical washers would make for an irregular surface that would complicate mounting the bi-pod which seems to be designed for a typical rifle forearm. For the people using a Harris bi-pod are you using one of the adapter brackets attached to the underside of the rail via a picatinny rail aft of the riser bolts.

Additionally is there adequate clearance for the leg/foot in the stirrup to cock the bow? YouTube shows a few people cocking bows with bi-pods extended but it is not clear if they need to do anything different to keep the bi-pod parts from digging into their shins.

Harris fits right on the sling swivel as long as it is (On) the stock facing down. I will only use the Harris on my Predator setups...
