I hope you have as much fun as I did. I sat in the skinning shed for 9 days and the only stinky ones were the leaking ones, if you know what I mean. That 2 weeks was so exciting, I didn't mind the smell at all!! I didn't even smell the one that visited me at my blind.

I feel cheated that I didn't know how delicious the meat was before this. I've cooked it twice now (2 different bears) and it was just great.

Laura glad you got your bear! Sorry I had to run after meeting you but my Dad was on a mission to get home and the 16hr ride was a little long. Ron did offer myself and one of the other hunters in my camping location a free hunt next year to make up for not being there for us and not bringing what he promised us.
