MODS for the Matrix 380???

Ok I have had the new 380 for bout a month now have prolly close to 500 shots with it. I have recently got a couple Flemish strings from xcailber (Dan) and ordered some BEA arrows from Big John. What all mods are being done with the new Matrix? I recall reading something about reworking the REDS but can't seem to find it again. It was a thread about shaving the top 1/3 of the ball off. What all does this help? Am looking also at replacing the stirrup with a web strap to help with the front end weight. With my Axiom I was able to core fill it and I believe it help. Has anyone experimented with the Matrix to see if Core filling will help with the "TWANG" Also I have a friend that is does a lot of work on guns and does a lot of trigger jobs to help take the creep out. Has anyone tried reworking their trigger to take the creep out with success. Just wondering if it can be done or is a Trigger Tech the answer. My neighbor is a product specialist at Hawke Optics and I talked with him about getting one of their new crossbow scope at a discounted price and he said give him a month or so and he'd be able to hook me up with one to "test" so I will soon be upgrading the scope too.

The only mod I did to my 380 was to put in a TriggerTech Hunter 2.5 trigger and a Boo string that made a big difference to me. I also went with 18" BEE arrows weighing in at 392gn total with the fp's/bh's.

Big John is making me a dozen 18"of custom BEA bolts . When i put my order in he said it would be 3 weeks so i have a couple more weeks till i get to play with them. Am gonna put my ROOSTER string on today and go kill some time in the back yard.

I had a local shop mill my string stops to work with the string tamer stops and so far have 300 shots on them and no cracking like the stock ones that were on it from factory.. Had 100 shots on them and they cracked!!

The time I gave you for arrow delivery is only a best guess. You will probably get them sooner!
I don't like to tell people they are getting something to quickly and get there hopes up.
I tell them exactly like it is, and then try to do them sooner, then its a surprise!!!

please explain again... what cracked ??

Gendoc, The rubber stops that the string hits, it seems to be a harder rubber then the string tamer rubbers.. I even turned them about every 10 shots but still cracked the stops open..
