I Need A New Target...

Post by ParkerSxS »

Thinking about springing for a Rinehart 18-1.
Any thoughts, pros or cons.
Open to other suggestions as well.

I got a new Rinehart with my 380 and it will do the job, the tough part is when shooting at 20 yards I play heck trying to get the bolts out. The 380 will penetrate about 9-10" and once the bolt is pulled out, the hole closes back up.

Picked up an 18 in 1 for my 380 and I should've bought one when I got the exomax. Great target and will definitely hold up for quite a long time. Go with the Rinehart and you'll be happy.

Have had a Rinehart 18:1 target for going on 3 years now and still haven't shot through it yet. I think it's one of the best for the money. Make sure to spring for a set of Danny Miller's arrow pliers too. Makes arrow removal a cinch and you won't have to worry about wrecking any arrows trying to pull them out of the target. I think Danny gets about $18 for them.

Danny Miller arrow pullers will help this much.

I purchased a Rinehart 18-1 when I got my Equinox, no experience with other targets but this one works great. Purchased for under $100 off ebay free delivery.

How do the Rineharts hold up to broadheads? I have a homemade bag target that works awesome on fieldpoints but my layered foam target struggles to stop my arrows when I am practicing with broadheads.

new to crossbows and new member of forum. I just bought a 380 and the fp's stuck in the target. I twisted b4 pulling and 3 out of 5 bolts came out missing the fp's. They were out of rienharts so I went with the McKensie shotblocker. Stops bolts fine just won't return the field points.

Practice with broadheads? Never. My Slick Tricks fly so much like FTs I not only don't practice with em but don't even check to make sure any longer.
