Post by maine hunter »

:D :D :D just got home from our bear hunt, what a blast!!!!! gena got a nice one tuesday night at 8:00. she watched it for awhile and it even came to her blind and looked in at her!!!! he walked in front of her blind one to many times, she smacked him hard, he was around 10 yards when she shot him. complet pass threw!!!! he went about 25-30 yards and did the old death moan. she hit him perfect!!! very proud of her!!! mine was on thursday night at 7:00. saw a sow and 2 older cubs at 6:00. when he came in, i thought it was the sow. but i saw his size and how he walk, and said to my shelf, that's a male!!!! he came in and turned broadside and sent my zombie slayer with g5 montecs right threw him. he growled and ran into the corn field. he went 75 yards and did the death moan. what a rush!!! can't wait till we go back to dyers outfitters. what a great place.i thank them for our dream hunt!!!

I can relate to that feeling of 'can't wait to get back'. I'm so glad you guys had fun. It has been a good year for bear hunters.....bears, not so much.
