weekend score!!

http://i1274.photobucket.com/albums/y42 ... cda5.jpgMy 6 year (Konnor) old and 8 year (Garrett) old sons both took a deer this weekend! They were using a Phoenix with Vixenmaster string, 2219 bolts with NAP 2 blade Bloodrunner broadheads. Konnor's 8 point went about 20 yards and Garrett"s button buck dropped in it's tracks. The 8 point was shot at 31 yards and the button buck at 33 yards. To make things even better, my dad was hunting with both of them and watched as his two oldest grandsons took their first deer with an arrow. They have both taken deer with a gun but they like shooting the Excal better than their gun. My youngest son said, "Dad, why did Paw cry when we found my deer?"
