Equinox scores doe in Michigan

It was opening day in Michigan today and I took a vacation day to hunt I would not be very happy sitting at work.
Up at 5 am every thing ready the night before quick bit to eat and sitting in stand before day break. As I watch the woods wake up and bath in natures slender I shut my eyes to listen to the birds sing a moment and to say a prayer to give thanks for the opportunity to be in the beautiful place I was sitting and ask for blessings for the new season,and promising to make full use of any harvest to feed my family.
Ten minutes later at 8:10 am I look to my far right and see a nice doe in bow range I have to turn to my right and wait for her to clear some brush and estimate her at 23 yards I fire my Equinox with a Easton Power bolt, Luminock and a 175 gr Slick trick and watch the bolt streak to its mark Thwomp perfect hit deer does a 180 and runs off with a loud crash 80 yards off.
I give it my standard hour wait and follow a nice blood trail to my Doe .
I spent the rest of the day butchering as it was in the upper seventies today I have it all deboned and packed and a sore back.
