I'm sure they would look after me, they have in the past and I even got a tour of the plant by Bill. I'm only 1 1/2 hrs away from the plant so I may give them a call and see what the turnaround time would be, it is October after all TCsteve wrote:Had something like that with my old Wolverine and just sent it to Excal and they fixed it and sent it back with a new hat, no charge

Have you considered a Heli Coil repair kit ? They work very well and you can use the exact same size screw that came in your xbow . If your not familar with them just google it . Hope this helps

Something else to consider... the steel-laced two-part epoxy putty is good stuff, I've used it on a ton of different fixes and I always keep some on hand. It can be drilled and tapped and it's extremely strong, Quik-steel is one brand that comes to mind.

Re: How Do I Fix My Exocet?
I stripped mine a long time ago, and used a similar idea to what is being described.
I used silicone to hold the bolt, my thought was that it would allow a bit of play when I tried to start the bolt, yet hold it in place.
It worked perfectly.

Thanks for all the replies and ideas. I ended up cutting a piece of 1/4" aluminum, marking it and drilling/tapping it. I had to tap it in place but I got it and it works . TC
