Not the Matrix 380, but I sold the Tact-Zone scope and rings off my Matrix 355. I never installed it, but I was OK clear.

I installed my Leupold VX-I 2-7x33mm scope with Leupold Rifleman detachable low rings.

I've put a VXR Hog scope on my 380 and am very pleased with it. Enormous, started a thread about his 2X7 WXR http://www.excaliburcrossbow.com/phpBB2 ... =1&t=50314

I have a $1200 scope on a $1000 rifle. Not uncommon.
It is a Trijicon after all.
Like I said, I am happy with my bow the way it sits, not trying to turn it in to a competition rifle with accessories, it's just that are some great options out there for those who want better.

For a rifle that's one thing, it has to go out much further, probably has zoom, etc. When others can make one that's virtually identical for $200, you have to ask yourself what $800 is buying you.

I'm not sure if you ever looked through/at the Trijicon crossbow scope, I have...it is not a $200 scope.

My thoughts too, Fred.
I can always do without great optics, until I pick one up.
