Mine has taken a few falls too, watched my buddies drop right out of a treestand, didn't miss a beat.
Falling in the woods.. When show shoeing this nimble fellow spends more time scraping snow out of my scope, trigger and eyeball sockets than hunting..
My footsteps do not have that graceful look a lot of snow shoe guys have, mine look more like a car accident scene.

Well, it was windier than a used car salesman today, so I headed out of the woods a little early this morning. I decided to do a little in the field scouting, you know, still hunting!
I got fixated on some sign, and was not paying attention to where I was putting my clod hoppers down, and I tripped over a log! Threw the Vortex about 9 yards so i could break the fall with my hands, got home, checked Roxanne over real good, and fired a few bolts, dead on, and not a scratch. She gave up a nice thud too when she landed, I'm a believer, these babies are tough.

9 yards?!? Did you think it was a shot put?
Good to know, if I run out of arrows I could just throw my bow at the deer and not have to worry about damage.

lmao NFH . I was thinking the same thing . 9 yds is a wee bit of a throw while falling . No arrow required just use the excal on the deer .
