another Leupold scope question
I understand this when adjusting a scope on a rifle or a shotgun, but not when I'm using a shotgun scope on a crossbow. So 1 click equals 1/4" MOA...so it takes 4 clicks to move your poi 1" at 100 yards. So how many clicks does it take to move it 1" at 20 yards?

Re: another Leupold scope question
I would think 5 clicks would be 1/4 inch at 20 yards 5 x 20yards=100 yards just guessing though.
So to get an inch move ment at 20 yards it would be 20 clicks.
So to get an inch move ment at 20 yards it would be 20 clicks.

Well....that's what I was thinking, but that's an awful lot of clicking to move it 2-3 inches at 20...lol!

Re: another Leupold scope question
Yes lots of clicks, no matter once your Leupold set it is set! I'd rather have finer adjustments other than larger movements.
1 click = 1/4″ adjustment at a 100 yard distance. or
in other words:1 click = 1/20″ at a 20 yard distance.
Since 1 click corresponds to 1/20″ of adjustment,
20 clicks will be exactly 1 full inch.

Re: another Leupold scope question
Spin it till it sounds like a zipper and try another shot! It takes LOTS but all the Leupolds I have tried have had enough adjustment to zero easily.
