Son's first deer

I am a first time poster. My son killed his first deer a seven point with a new matrix 380. After I bought it I have been lurking to get info from you guys on broadheads and such. I figured I would join in to tell you guys thanks for all the info I have received on here. He made a perfect heart shot from 35 yards. He is hooked now and wanted to go back this morning but it was too windy. My son is 7. Finally got a pic to load. it is 8 posts down.

I am on my iPhone now. When I get time I will get the laptop to try to send a pic on it. He shot him 30 minutes before dark but we decided to wait a couple hours. I was unsure where he hit because we were shooting through mesh of pop-up blind. The boltcutters did a great job. As soon as we started trailing I knew he made a good hit.

When he gets old enough to sit by himself He will definitely get his own excalibur for Christmas. He loves it. Everyday after school last week he wanted to target shoot.
