Newbie Questions Matrix 380

Post by charlgen »

Im looking into purchising Matrix 380 first crossbow for me, i have few questions.

1. Is this cross bow easy to setup if your pretty handy?
2. Does the string come pre waxed?
3. Can I shoot 125 Rage 2 blade crossbow broadheads with the diablo arrows and do they shoot well?

Im sure ill have more questions soon

Thank you

Good questions, and positive to all of them.

Found a review about M. 380, hope that would help

Thanks for mentioning my blog on Excalibur's Facebook Page the other day. And hope I could add some value here to the community. :)

I have a 380 and I would recomend it to anyone who is looking for a Fast Accurate Smooth Simple and easy to maintain crossbow I took mine out of the box put it together in no time Took it out in the yard a few shots and a few clicks of the scope and was shootin Bullseyes I would never even look at one of those other wheeled contraptions that the competitors sell :D

I ordered my Matrix 380 through my local archery shop and stopped by just as the UPS man made his delivery that day. I ended up putting everything together myself even though I thought that was kinda BS that the shop owner didn't offer to do it for me.

Everything went together in no time and I was shooting it very fast!

I personally use the HellRazor broadheads and have already got a nice buck with mine!

set is easy just make sure all scope screws are tight ,but i don't know how well the 125 gr broadheads will fly.the diablo bolts are designed for the matrix and come with 150gr field points.changing the weight of bolt/arrow will throw off the drop compinstating rectricle on the scope .i didn't know that rage made a 125 gr crossbow broadhead

what i was trying to say is that the diablo bolt is designed for the matrix its shorter @18" and balanced for 150 gr field point or broadhead.changing the weight will affect how the shorter bolt will fly especially with a broadhead maybe not at 20yrds but beyond 30yrds.i mean there are guys that cut bolts/arrows down to 16"and try them but don't think they are bragging about there accuracy.excalibur has done there research and testing there is a reason why they are using 18" bolts with 150gr points
