I had a great day (graphic. With lots 'o blood!)

We had a great day out in the woods! it started off with this guy offering a broadside shot at 20 yards in the morning:

and for the afternoon: i spooked a couple of does on my walk in, but sat anyways & this one showed me a 25 yard broadside shot about an hour later:



thank goodness we still had ice on that creek! You can see where the warm blood/heat escaping from body cavity created a hole in the thin ice.

Good times! & im happy to have some meat in the freezer, and a deer too!! LOL
