As many have said, exit the vitals. "Hit them high watch them die, hit them low watch them go"

Gravity only works along the horizontal distance, whether you are shooting uphill or downhill. In your scenario it is only a 20 yard shot.

Does being elevated change things due to the arrow flying more in line with the force of gravity than if you were on the ground where you experience projectile drop?

When shooting any archery equipment, gravity does effect the arrow flight or point of impact. The distance, weight of arrow and speed of arrow all matter. But to keep it simple, if your in a tree stand and your measurement (distance) is from the base of the tree, then the extra distance of arrow flight because of elevation is neglected. Just shoot for the ground distance and not the elevation distance.

It is like vixenmaster said, you will only be about an inch high on your point of impact between the two distances. So if your aiming for the shorter distance, but actually shooting the elevated distance (longer) your POI would almost be the same.
