My youngest son an i had an exciting together hunt sitting in the tree that I watched him an my other sons drop some nice bucks from only this time I was the shooter being old an sick an my son was my back up man an when I shot the deer took off running an I fired again an he slowed up some but still running an my son said should I shoot pop an I said h--- yes an we both fired at the same time an he dropped dead on the spot. first he said I got him pop an I said I shot to you know an he laughed an said no you got him pop . took it a couple seconds to sink in but I was shooting over my knee with an AR 223 an he had a shooting board rest in the stand with a long 308 heavy barrel an a big smile on his face the deer was hit perfect behind the front shoulder with a nice big entry an exit hole an distroyed the inside an no doubt who killed it but he kept saying you got him pop an I said be quiet an tag your d-- deer an he smiled mabey next time
That,s for sure! we have fun picking on each other for our mistakes an bad luck an anything else we do wrong keeps us on our toes but now past my prime I get picked on the most but the good thing is we all have a good laugh at each other . They been calling me killer now for awhile an I think that,s sarcasm
