I've walked in/on mine a fair bit - lots of up and down hills up north. They are a bit stiff-feeling but not inflexible. So far they're holding up really well - with no visible wear on them (just some sock fuzzies  )

Wife is off to NYC shopping for the weekend, she is going to look for some for us. My feet have been getting cold in my Mucks this year, must be getting old. (Me, not the boots)

Just bought a new pair of eBay for $90 shipped to me. Thought that was a fair deal. Hope they work as good as others have said they do!
