Great job. It's a nice feeling being able to be more self sufficient and making your own strings. I bet you can't wait to get some center serving on that sucker and put it through its paces.
Congratulations on a job well done. That is a useful skill that I need to pursue as well. What is the cost to get everything needed to make strings? How did you decide on what string to use? Where did you purchase everything you need to make your own? I guess I need to use the search feature to research it. GREAT JOB!
Thanks guys. Most of the materials came off ebay . The most expensive part is the jig , My dad made mine years ago . Theres alot of very smart people on here that would be glad to help if asked . Like I said Xcaliber was a great help to me .

Looks great! I still have the first one I made an it,s a little short but works . used astroflight an it did not stretch hardly any on my vixen an had to make them longer

I too wouldn't mind learning how to make my own Flemish strings. I've searched the net a few times but there seems to be very little info that is crossbow specific. I like the idea of being self sufficient and it would give me something to do when I travel for work (other than browse Xbow forums...

I dont own a matrix series xbow so I cant help you much but Im sure so of the other string makers on here would be more than happy to help you out .
