rubberized grips

Post by Turtleman »

Just curious if anyone has ever tried to put rubberized grips on your excalibur and if you were satified with the results. I want to add some to an exocet i have and am researching ideas. So give me your thoughts on the subject!

I hunt with so many bows/firearms that I found it was just easier to get rubberized gloves.
Cheaper, easy to find and always with you.

that is one option i had not thought of . Only thing would be during hot weather when a glove wouldn't be an option.

preciate your thoughts awshucks and pydpiper. I have an exocet i really want to make into a shooting machine. I ordered a triggertech trigger for it and am anxious to put it in and shoot. I will definitely think more about it and test out different things on plastic before i put it on the stock. Don't know if you guys have heard of 3M 5200. I have used it in the boat building industry for years. This stuff is tough and doesn't want to come off whatever it is applied too. I will start the test with this and go from there. I will make sure to test with WD40, i promise!

I tried a rubberized grip tape but it did not stick well to the finish.
It stuck well to a shotgun I had done as well with a wood stock.
