Hmmmm....is this "correctthink".....LOL!...I think all of these discussions are healthy and great for us and for the company (which makes the best xbow btw in mho)....for those who are just concerned about speed well the 405 is for you....I'm am just not sure side by side w the 380 it is really that much of a step up....it does say a lot for what what went into the 380 however....

I could not agree more CH312!!! I end up getting everything a-la-carte anyway and deck it out how I want. Can't wait to try it. Seems like the 400 fps is what I was waiting for and sounds like it's coming now!

I am curious about the bare Matrix crossbows, do they come with open sights? If so, how did they mount the front sight?

I wanted a padded soft side case, so I looked at the Tarantula CB0200CM camo deluxe crossbow case. It is well made and properly padded. The Tarantula comes with a small tackle box and has a pouch that holds my MTM crossbow bolt box. This case fits my Matrix 355 30.5" limbs perfectly and isn't too long in the length.

Anyone with the Matrix 330 / 355 / 380 / 405 Mega looking for a high quality soft side case this one is suitable. Plus it comes with a forever warranty for only $60.

Really wish they would have camo rail on the 355 and 330. I mean why not go all out!!! If they did I would have to buy a 3rd bow!!!!!!!!

Wound up buying the Excalibur (green) xbow case ($69 on eBay)....the 380 swims in it...In Excalibur's defense it is a solid, well made case....just wish they could have included tie down straps and an area to tie down a smaller tackle box on the inside. The secondary outside compartment is all but useless except for loose items like your cocking rope, stringing rope, etc....but it is definitely a well made case for the the money I paid.....

With all that said, had I known I would have bought the tarantula case instead (still don's see tie down straps though!)
