Georgiaboy, Pretty sure those are Easterns too. The Eastern has the largest range of the 4 slam species.

Georgiaboy, I stand corrected. Upon further internet research, it appears those are most likely Merriams. Also learned that according to B.C. law,the wild turkey is considered an invasive species in B.C.

After re-reading the original post, I see that those turkeys reside in Ontario not B.C. I'm going with Eastern. Either way,come opening day, I'd be throwing heavy-shot in their direction.

Believe they are easterns and EXCAL only for these guys!
