Hello all you Horizontal commerades,,I just recently purchased my first Excal,,,,it is a slightly used Danny Miller made Vixen,,,,my timing could not be worse on this bow,,,,I am holed down because of a recent back surgury I had on Tuesday Feb 11th,,,,so I'm very frustrated in the fact that all I can do is LOOK at it,,,and sometimes SHOULDER IT,,,HOWEVER in the meantime I have been reading a lot of good info on this forum for the last week or so,,,,I,GOT ALL KINDZA QUESTIONS AND IDEAS on what I bought and how I can tweek her,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I can tell you it has a 14" aluminmum Axiom rail,,cast riser,,,which I see cannot be fitted with any style of STS,,,the limbs I believe to be off an EXOMAG,,it has the dissipator bars,, Veri zone scope and a dozen 20" Firebolts,and sidemount qiiver,,,Can't wait to weigh my arrows,,,,string her up and zipp a few through my Pro Chono and read them numbers,,,That will tell the story and lead me to my next step,,,I had expected this combo to be a little lighter,,,feels front end heavy,,,also,,,since I am a short guy I rhoughy my trigger pull measurement would be more comfortable,,,,,,,,,,,,,this I gonna be a hunting rig for me,,pretty much whitetail,,,so I look forward to the journey ahead with the Excal community,,,and hopefully tweeking what I got here to be a little more bad ass!!!And ,,,believe me,,,from all the reading I have done being laid up,,,I know a lot of you good people out there...LOL>>

Welcome "Just" I've got to say if you have a question chances are one of these guys can point you in the right direction. I've been making the trip to Wisconsin for the past 15 Yrs or so. Ever since my oldest son moved out there. Deer heaven. He lives in Warrens and we have been bow hunting that area for years now. Can't wait to use my Crossbow this year. Glad they finally passed the law legalizing them. Anyway welcome.

I live 2 miles from Butler.I shoot my 355 at
little mennominee parkway off Appelton ave
by Mitchells bar.We'll have to get together at the park to shoot when it warms up and this 2' of snow melts!
