It has been a moth now
Was out filling feeders
Decided to change cards in cameras
Left cell phone in truck with side arm
Being lazy cut thru brush in stead of taking path
Being late returning home wife called two gents I hunt with
They found me laying in a run off face bloody and pretty dazed
To cut this short had broken nose, a few busted ribs and right leg badly brused
They went out and pulled camera card
Come to find out spooked a sow with piglets
They have not shown me picks yet, but say sow hit my right leg I went in air kissed a tree with my nose and each and every hog ran over me

glad your ok ,that's why I wish I could carry a pistol while bow hunting.but that's illegal here in texas.wouldnt think they would attack so easily,if u get between sow & babies or sow in heat with boar they will!i will think about you next time I smack one with the 380!i will also be more careful,have walked up on large groups several times but had my weatherby rifle and I always take 7 lucky bulletts perhaps I need more.btw are you in texas?never mind I see east texas we got alotta pigs huh.i know the population is exploding as we speak at our deer lease in thornton texas.will be back on em in October bow season.but in the mean time they havin babies like crazy!

Always been on my bucket list to hunt an animal that hunts you back!
Before my hunting days I used to tease my father in law every time he talked about deer hunting, at that time I thought it was as easy as going in to a field, picking the deer you wanted, shoot it, and go home.
I used to tell him he should hunt cows, but call the farmer on the way out to tell him what he was going to do, so someone could shoot back.
Obviously know different now, but it sure used to piss him off.

I might be wrong but if you have a CHL I think you can carry while bow hunting.

I always carry while bow hunting in MI and any other state that honors my carry permit.
