So I just could not wait.......!

Post by amythntr »

....so you guys are killing me with all your ability to go out and shoot and practice...yea right, in northern NJ...so I did what any respectful hunter would do after his wife went to sleep....I crept into the basement...backed up to the washer and dryer...set up my Reinhart...cocked the M380 with the new Boo String and yes...almost dry fired...thank you ADF....well then I re cocked loaded a bolt and fired away three times....had lots of fun...no cops or descending spouse....hmmm..maybe another night I will shoot through the house out to my deck......stay tuned.....

Just make sure the missus don't wander down to see what you up too! Might be good idea to advise her prior to zinging them through house to deck, we don't want to read bout ya! Have fun, I did that basement thing with my .44 mag one time when missus was out, she never could figure out why cat would not go near me after that.

I can squeeze out twenty yards if I start at the breezeway and shoot through the doorway into the first part of my shop then through another doorway into the rear part of the shop. It seems a stretch but it works. Come on SPRING. :D

I'm fortunate to have a basement that allows me a 15 yds shot. So I can shoot to my hearts content. :wink:

I know what you all mean I am up here in Ma and can't shoot my new 380 with the temps in the single numbers and 20's and the snow on the ground I guess I'll just have to wait a bit more but the bow sits on the stand just looking at me I can almost hear it begging for me to take it out and shoot it. I'm getting ready to retire and move to Ga. so I sold my house and live in an apartment not cellar or garage.

I wish but with only a 42 inch crawl space and bad knees and other stuff ;

It's always exciting when you let an arrow fly only a few feet away from your gas furnace

...OK so here we go....BACK TO EXCALIBUR RELATED ISSUES....I have continued to shoot in my basement at about 8 yds at the most with the bolt cutters on my older Diablos...they are shooting most constantly ever so slightly right and ever so slightly low which could be me as my arra's fly past the HWH...I know whatchagonnasay.......wait till ya get outside and do some real shooting....the only real reason why I am shooting now is twofold...to try to stretch the BOO string and to feel like I live in the woods or have 2-5 acres to shoot in instead of the 44x144 property I live in NJ...where the people are looking for reasons to call the Poo leece on you...especially if you exhibit the weird, not normal tendencies of hunting and shooting.....
