Parker crossbows - unbelievable

Went to the Dixie deer classic yesterday here in Raleigh. There was a booth by Parker so I walked up and checked them out and played dumb with the sales guy. I asked him what he thought about Excaliburs and at what arrow weight the rated speeds were calculated for Parker. He told me Excaliburs were good but really noisy and that they quote their speeds with an arrow so light it was unsafe. I asked about reliability and he said Parker was great but like any mechanical device it could fail. He then said from time to time you might be sitting in the stand with the bow cocked and have a limb fail but that was normal and they would replace it. Unbelievable.

It did happen to my buddys cyclone just like he said

And they did replace the limbs no question asked

I'm not sure I would want to be in a position to pitch a mediocre product, almost glad he was honest though! I'll take loud and functioning over possible failure and down time during hunting season.

My thoughts exactly. I had a Horton come apart on me while I was cocking it on the ground during target practice and that was exciting enough.
