Have heard from a couple of the forums most respected names that the new Strykezone 350's are pretty nice bows. Small, light, shoot very well. Sounds great to me, let us know how she does.

Never noticed how far ahead the trigger is from the latch...interesting design, wonder how it works.

The 350's are sweet shooters and with usually great factory triggers. They didn't have the limb problems like the 380 did with Bowtech several years back.

Been using mine for the last two seasons. Bow is very accurate and easy to
pull with rope cocker. Trigger is fantastic and there is little vibration or
noise when shot. Being only 5'8" tall the bow suits me well. A tall person
may find this bow a bit "tiny" to shoot. Sighted in at 30 yards with an Excalibur Shadowzone scope dialed to 350, arrows hit right on to 60 yards. Using 20"
Gold Tip Laser 2 and 100gr G5 Montec speed is 342 fps. Be sure to use lots
of string lube and be very careful tightening the front stock screw. There is very little plastic around the hole and cracks will appear if you tighten the
screw even a reasonable amount - this I know first hand! Took a big ten
point with the bow this year but I would still carry my 18 year old Exocet if
survival was a concern.

Swamp Donkey, here's an off-topic question for you. I noticed you have a knots in your cocking rope. I like the idea of something on the rope to keep the hook separated, but I'm concerned knots would weaken the rope too much for my Matrix 380. Did your rope cocker come that way? What brand is it?

That's a question you would have to ask the good folks @ Excalibur C/S, Sig...
I noticed that and had the same question. But there are knots on each end of the rope holding the handles on... :?:

The knots at each end may or may not weaken the rope as much as those in the middle. It would be interesting to test if I had a surplus of cocking ropes.

Keep us posted, Sig! May try it on my 355/380, as well...
What might work well is something like extra large nock points that would wrap around the large-diameter cocking rope. That way the rope wouldn't be weakened. Something soft would be preferred. I may have to try tying some different types of rope around the cocking rope to keeps the hooks apart near the middle. Maybe some d-loop cord. Two cow hitches, one on either side of center, cinched down tight would probably do the trick. Both ends of the cow hitch would have to be melted.

I may try that and let you know.

OK, so the cow hitch didn't work as well as I'd have hoped because the two ends were too close together. I tried a clove hitch too, but I couldn't get it tight enough. Finally, I tried a constrictor knot and that seemed to do the trick. Here's what it looked like:

(Edit - Removed images, the knots preclude de-cocking with the rope)

Sorry, the images are a little blurry (no sunlight available), but I think you get the idea. 4" apart seems to be just about right. Had to be sure to make them nice and tight so they don't move around before melting the ends. Turns out I had some stiff, bright, polyester, utility cord that worked pretty well, Now I can use my d-loop cord for d-loops. :D

Duh, I was just working with Sheila and realized my modified cocking rope with the knot stops near the middle has a fatal flaw. I can't de-cock with it. Fortunately, a sharp knife easily remedied the situation. I'll remove the images so no-one tries to copy it. Sorry guys.
