I was off to the border first thing this morning to pick up my new Lead Sled DFT. Straight to the club from there to put it together. Easy peasy...about 20 minutes and it's good to go. This thing is solidly built and the micro adjust is great. First off I wanted to see where my poi would be for hunting purposes. The HHA Optimizer is bang on out to 80 yards but that's for plinking purposes. I settled on setting my speed dial at 33yards. That put me 2 1/2" high at 20yards, about 1 1/2" high at 30yards, and 2 1/2" low at 40yards. Perfect. Killing range is done. Now to pack everything over from the archery range to the gun range.
I measured the distance between my 20, 30, 40,50,60,70, and 80 yard marks on my speed dial and measured out where my 90 yard mark should be. I did the same for 100 yards and 110 yard marks and only had to make a minor tweek for the 100. When it was all said and done, over the course of about 4 hours, i saw legitimate
2 3/4" - 3 1/2" groups from all ranges of 90 yards - 110 yards. To say I was amazed is an understatement. I'm thrilled with my whole set up which I'll list.

This long range shooting was a blast! If you have a chance to do any I highly recommend it. There's something about squeezing the trigger, the long pause, then that arrow slamming into the bullseye at 100+yards away that's indescribable. It's also a great confidence builder knowing how potentially accurate your gear is. I know anything out of the bullseye is all me.

Paul does not fabricate his 2 3/4" - 3 1/2" groups from all ranges of 90 yards - 110 yards. I have the range photos as proof from him.

That has to be a great feeling especially when you arent guessing the sight at that long range. I just put a HHA sight on but havent had time to do any sight in. cant wait to try it. Nice job with your set up!

Misunderstanding...paulaboutform(me) was asking pinesap which excal he put his HHA on.
