Matrix 330 accuracy?

Post by buttnbuck »

Just wondering if anyone can give me a little info on the Matrix 330? I'm debating on ordering one but want to know how accurate they are having a short power stroke and being a smaller model. I'm mainly using it for 3d target and white tail hunting.

The 330 is accurate enough to split costly arrows at 3D and whitetail ranges if your skill is above average and your arrows are well made and matched.

I shot my 330 last night with a new triggertech trigger. This is my third Excalibur and definitely my favorite. I was hitting a dime size dot at 20 yards with factory arrows. My friend and I are heavy weightlifters and he was struggling cocking his 405 and even broke a bloodvessel in his finger; however, the 330 is a breeze I felt like I could cock it with one hand. I am using the factory arrows for turkey since they are lighter than my B.E excutioners but I would not hesitate to use them on whitetails even though I like a higher F.O.C. Overall I would say this as a awesome bow and the size is a additional bonus. The only negative was MY factory trigger.

I shot mine today off hand about a dozen times. It was quite windy. From kneeling I could shoot within a 3 inch circle at 20 yds.Very accurate little beast.I'm sure I'll break bolts if I use my bench shooting the same spot.I got mine from David at Wyverns.I got the bare bow package but I had him keep me the 4 bolts that were in the box.I have a nikon XR Bolt scope on it with rifleman med rings.

I have heard nothing but good things about the 330, and like all Excalibur Crossbows, accuracy is in it's DNA! I have been fortunate to own three, and have shot about 6, every one was a tack driver.

Hey BB

The 330's are super super accurate, I really like shooting the little Mrs. 330
I don't know if it's because it's a little shorter and more compact but I really enjoy shooting it and she does as well. Its already cost her two Diablos lol

Cheers

Equinox at 20 yards & this is why U don't shoot the same target more than once.
