My Matrix 355

Today was the first chance that I had to shoot My new Matrix 355 , I am not new to Crossbows but..... OMG , I once owned a Excalibur Exocet and most recently a pre slit limb Parker Tornado but never shot a Crossbow as nice as This one . I hooked up My 355 with a Nikon XR 3x Scope and I am using Black Eagle 18 inch executioners tipped with 100 field points . My 1st shot was at 10 yards which was out of the box was 1 inch high and 1/2 inch left .After the proper adjustments My 2nd bolt hit the 1/4 inch bull's-eye dead center . I retrieved the bolt , wouldn't dare shot a second one at the same target . I then moved the target out to 20 yards and after the one at a time 2nd shot in the same 1/4 inch bull I moved the target to 30 yards . Guess what ,I aimed the scope to the first 30 yard circular reticle at the Bull and at 30 My group only opened up to about 1/2 inch . All shots taken were from a bench , the first thing I noticed was the nice trigger that My 355 has , another thing I noticed was that Its not much harder to load than was My Tornado , I have been reading and was considering a single stage trigger but don't see the need because in a hunting situation I won't be shooting past 30 yards anyway so why fix something thats not broke .Next chance I get I will give it a try at 40 ,50 and 60 yards just for fun .All in All I am delighted with My purchase and All the Tips that I picked up on this Forum which lead Me to the equipment choices that I made . Congrats on the new bow. They are amazing. I've been shooting my 380 now for a couple of months and I still get that WOW feeling every time I go to the range. Last time there, I met a guy who was considering buying one. I let him shoot mine once. Dead center at 30 yards. I think I made a sale

I bought one a couple weeks ago.. it is even lighter than my Ibex & shoots a lot faster.. I think its a keeper

I have the 380 my wife has the 330 and one of my friends has the 355 we all love ours and they all will stack arrows. Congrats on your 355 you're gonna love it.
