heavy shot blend

Hi all Is it legal in Ontario to use heavy-shot magnum blend 5-6-7.What would C.O. say.

The law states #4, #5, or #6 so I'd say no and there's so many other choices why take the chance? JMO
Good luck on Friday, wish I was off work but I'll have to give e'm heck on Saturday.

I've had SUPER results with #6 Tungsten shot in mag loads. Two birds: at 50 and 55 yards. (measured)

Why does bass pro have it on there flyer every year.They shud not be selling it.MNR is always behind.The regs. were made when only lead was available.I havnt bot any myself but was just wondering cause its been proven best in lite loads like a 20 ga.

Same reason you can still buy deer urine in Ontario.
While it may not be prudent in many ways for BP sell that load, the MNR has no jurisdiction over sales of that product. Look at soft point/hollow points for handgun rounds as well. It's legal to sell the ones that can be used in rifles.
For good or bad, it's still a marginally free country we live in....at the moment.

BP has a warning right on the shelf by those shells to check and comply with local regs.

I guess you could argue that the load contains 5 and 6 shot, which is perfectly legal.

Look for the Hevi 13 by Hevi shot. They are straight shot sizes. I've just been through this with the company because CT store are to start selling Hevi shot and they have the Mag Blend listed in their systems.
