My Scope Wobbles

Post by CozzyElectron »

I've noticed that my accuracy on my AXIOM is absolutely unreliable!

Some days it's right on and then other days it's way out.

I can never rely on my accuracy on any given day.

Then I noticed that my scope has a wobble in it.

see this short video of my scope wobble to see just what I mean.

http://youtu.be/ane0Ch86uL8

What can I do about this issue?

I tried tightening the screws - any ones I could find that were at all loose but no amount of tightening has helped at all.

Any advice would be much appreciated because at is it now, my crossbow is useless because I wouldn't dare take a shot at a deer based on the fact that it is completely unethical.

Please help :(

judging by the video it seems to be the entire trigger unit.
You will need to remove the stock and tighten the two screws that secure the trigger unit to the rail.
They come up from the bottom of the rail one in front of the trigger and one behind.

Hope this helps

X3, remove the 2 screws that hold the stock to the rail then give the stock a tap just behind the end of the rail. The trigger unit screws will then be accessible and you may want to use some blue locktite on them when you cinch them down.
