End of an hunting era - Retired my dad's truck

Post by Sandman »

Good afternoon,

I inherited my dad's 1998 Chev truck when he passed away in 2005. That old truck had so many hunting memories attached to it from moose hunting in Ignace ON to our yearly deer hunts in Coe Hill ON at our deer camp. I've really enjoyed taking it hunting and loading my harvests into the old truck since it came to me. On a good note the truck has seen 3 generations of our family driving it from my dad to me and then my son. It wont be leaving our family though as my brother has decided to restore it.

I've decided to start moose hunting again and needed a little more reliable vehicle. I replaced it with my new hunting transportation ....

There's something about a man, and his truck! Hope your brother does a sweet job, and you get to reflect back often, no memories like the hunting memories.

Nice Ford by the way! :D

Now you're talkin'! Nice ride, and good luck on the moose hunts.
