?? on scope mounts

Post by ZWV »

This has probably come up... I've got a 380 Matrix on its way and a Nikon Bolt XR to go on it.... What height rings work best for this combo? Looking for the right cheek weld and plenty of clearance...Thanks

Medium height. I have that scope on my 355.

Low rings will probably place the eyepiece where it'll interfere with the guardian ADF lever. They did on my 380 when I mounted a larger 3-9x33mm leupold scope. Go with medium height.

I suggest Leupold rifleman rings. They are very lightweight, rugged and inexpensive. I got a set on eBay for $10.
