Cardboard box crammed full of rags or old clothes is great. When the front of the box gets too full of holes...you just tape on a new piece of cardboard. You can download and print free targets from the internet. However, a large cardboard box is not easy to move around so a foam target for practicing in the woods is nice to have. Foam targets sell for 60 dollars plus.

OK, most votes for 18-1 so I just placed the order. A bit pricey but then it's only money. Thanks for the replies.

I know they are expensive, but buy bag targets at 60 bucks a wack and they last 2 years or so. The 18-1 will last a lot longer.good luck on your target and have fun. :D

I prefer the Rhino block over the 18in 1, you can usually get them on sale with blemishes.

just made one out of a burlap sac full of rags plastic bags ect,, old jackets ,,, best target i ever had bolts only go about halfway threw and very very easy to remove, plus alot cheaper ,,never buying a shooting block again..shooting with the matrix 380.
