Early morning Jake

Post by Carnivorous »

Shot this one @ 6:30am this morning. I hunted for a total of 45min. I didn't even open my thermos of coffee! LOL

As soon as I set my decoys up 2 Jakes were in the field 300 yards away. They came strolling my way after a few calls. Firt time the blind worked for me. I set it up 2 weeks ago... :)

On my way out on the other side of my bush I see 4 Tom's & countless hens. Guess where I wil set-up next time!!

Oh ya & I used the 870. I decided to use th shotgun first then try for #2 with the Matrix 355...
